Sunday hikes start at 2:30 pm, go approx. 5 miles, last 1 1⁄2 – 2 hrs.
Tuesday hikes start at 07:00 pm, go approx. 3 miles, last about 1 hour.
The SPHC walks at a moderate speed of 2.5 -3.5 mph. (17-24 min. mile)
Hikers are expected to maintain that pace. Hikes start on time.

13 completed hikes so far, 3 hikes canceled.
43 different members & 5 guests have hiked.
A club member with the initials of PP has made 69 hikes in a row. Every hike since 6/16/24.
Judy Nelson’s hike from Gorman’s Restaurant on February 25th started exactly on the 45th parallel which is the halfway point between the Equator and the North Pole. It was also the farthest East stating point so far.
The temperature on hikes ranged from -4 F on February 18th to 48 F on February 23rd. Just 5 days apart.
Earth day, April 22, 2024 No Earth, No Life.
