Sunday hikes start at 2:30 pm, go approx. 5 miles, last 1 1⁄2 – 2 hrs.
Tuesday hikes start at 11:30 am, go approx. 3 miles, last about 1 hour.
The SPHC walks at a moderate speed of 2.5 -3.5 mph. (17-24 min. mile)
Hikers are expected to maintain that pace. Hikes start on time.
2025 MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS...
Annual membership dues are due March 1st. $20.00 gets you a mailed copy of the Trailblazer and $10.00 an e-mailed copy. Make checks payable to: St. Paul Hiking Club and mail to: Rose Nelson, 2393 Eldridge Ave E., North St Paul, MN 55109.

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING AND ELECTION OF OFFICERS...
Will be held on Saturday February 8th in a reserved room at the White Bear Lake Library, 2150 2nd St. in White Bear Lake. We will begin the potluck at 1pm, followed by the meeting and proposed programs for 2025. Bring a dish to share and your own beverage. This is your opportunity to vote for or against proposed changes. A three mile leisurely stroll will follow the meeting.

WINTER CARNIVAL 2025...
An application has been submitted for the Winter Carnival King Boreas Grande Day Parade to be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 2 – 4 PM. If interested in participating in this event, Please contact Sharon Heaton at 651.207.5926.

SPHC miles hiked through November = 6584 - Club Members 6443, Guests 141
63 have hiked this year, 48 women, 15 men.
88 completed hikes. 6 that were cancelled. Of
the 6; 4 because of cold weather, 2 because
of heavy snow and 2 because of
thunderstorms.
By participants the November 17th hike led by
Amy Peterson / Bry Garcia at Phalen Park was
the largest. That hike had 29 people.
November and May had the highest average
hike participants with 22 people.
29 different people have led or co-led a hike.
BH, SH, SH, PP, RN, DC, SC, VF, VF, + RN
were at ALL of the November hikes.
