SUNDAY hikes start at 2:30 p.m., go approx. 5 miles and last approx. 1 ½ to 2 hours.
TUESDAY hikes start at 11:30 a.m., go approx. 3 miles, and last approx. 1 hour.
The SPHC walks at a moderate speed of 2.5 - 3.5 mph. Hikers are expected to maintain that pace. (17-24 min. mile) Hikes start on time.

Meeting Location: Meet at the Battle Creek Waterpark, 2401 Upper Afton Road Maplewood.
Directions: Take Hwy 94 to McKnight rd, go South to Upper Afton and turn left.
Hike Description: We will walk down to Hwy 61 and surrounding area and walk back up the hill.
Treats: Culvers 2065 Old Hudson Road, just West of the Sunray Shopping Center.

Meeting Location: Meet at Blaine Wetland Sanctuary, 11980 Lexington Ave N.E., Blaine.
Directions: Go North on Lexington to 125th Ave NE, make a U-turn at the stop light. Entrance will be .6 miles south of 125th on right hand side.
Hike Description: Flat trail.

Meeting Location: Meet at the Costco in Maplewood, 1431 Beam Ave. North side of parking lot.
Directions: East of Hwy 61 on Beam Ave.
Hike Description: The hike will be a high voltage walk with a skyline view. The hike will be on paved trails and streets with a short boardwalk. Be prepared for some hills.

Directions: Off Century Ave and the DQ.
Hike Description: We'll hike through the Nature Center and Union Cemetery.

Meeting Location: Meet at Trout Brook Nature Sanctuary 1200 Jackson St, St Paul, MN 55117
Directions: Just west of 35E on Maryland Ave, turn north on Jackson St.
Hike Description: CENTENNIAL HIKE 5.0. On January 10, 1925, the club met in the vicinity of what is now Trout Brook Nature Sanctuary walk via Dale St. to 358 Aurora Avenue, where member Gertrude Wallraff was the "hostess for the evening." No Gertrude and no party, but we will meet at Trout Brook Nature Sanctuary and take a 6-mile walk to Gertrude’s former residence and back.

Directions: Take 694 to 10th St. exit, go east, turn left onto Helmo Ave. N., turn right into the IHOP parking lot.
Hike Description: We will hike neighborhood trails.

Meeting Location: Meet at 1042 Summit Ave corner of Summit Ave. and Oxford St. N. in St Paul.
Directions: One block east of Lexington Pkwy N on Summit. There are parking restrictions in the area.
Hike Description: We hike from the Governor’s residence to the State Capital and back via historic Summit Ave.

Meeting Location: West Side Meander: We will meet on the corner of Page and Bellows St at 170 Page St W, Saint Paul, MN. Street parking.
Directions: Between High bridge / Smith Ave S and Robert St.
Hike Description: We will do well hiking down Bidwell, and take in our prospects on Prospect Blvd, and haul back on Hall Street
Treats: Cookies for all hikers!
Winter hiking: The quiet beauty & looking at the animal tracks. No Bugs! Snow! No bikes on the trails, no leaves on the trees, no roots & rocks underfoot. A walk in nature gives more than it takes. I love that my body can keep me warm. When I put on a pair of hiking boots and trudge through the snow, I feel 8 years old again! - Members of the SPHC
